I’m Dr. Nikhil Grover, a Pediatric Dentist. Despite all the technological advancements around us, many people are still unaware that this specialty even exists. A Pediatric Dentist is a child specialist for teeth—just like a Pediatrician is for general health.

My bachelor’s degree (BDS) was a 5-year program from JSS Dental College, Mysore. I then spent an additional 3 years pursuing my MDS, also from the same college—essentially a master’s program in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. This enabled me to develop my skills and learn the tools required to manage children and take care of their oral health. Trust me, kids are not just little adults—they have different oral care needs and, more importantly, require a completely different approach.

I have been practicing exclusive Pediatric Dentistry since completing my master’s in 2005—it’s been 18 years and counting, and I love every bit of it.

Academics has always been a passion of mine. I served as Professor and Head of Department (In-Charge) at a dental college in the NCR region until 2018. Since then, I’ve been fully devoted to clinical practice. I’ve published and presented numerous papers at both national and international levels and continue to stay actively involved. Acquiring and critically appraising new methods and techniques remains a passion—once a teacher, always a teacher.

Taking the fear out of dentistry and instilling a positive dental attitude in children is both my mission and my passion. I’m happy to utilize all available technological advancements and even out-of-the-box techniques—yes, even a little magic 🪄—to achieve this.

Putting a smile on those little faces and reducing their fear of dentistry makes it all worthwhile. I hope to continue providing quality dental care and making them smile—forever grateful. 🧿
